Do you want to make a difference??
Become a $5 philanthropist!!

You don’t have to be a millionaire to be generous. If you believe in what we’re doing, and the need it fulfills, then join the thousands of ordinary people who give from their heart. Maybe it’s just $5 or $10 rather than $5,000 – but if we can reach that larger audience, we still accomplish our goal. (If one-tenth of one percent of Facebook’s 45 million subscribers donated $5 each….)

Whatever you give, it’s tax deductible. Make your check or money order to Children Without Limits, Inc. and send it to P.O. Box 427, Carmel, IN 46082. With your permission we’ll list your name on our Web site, in alphabetical order.

A lot of big name philanthropists are busy re-tooling Africa. I applaud them and wish them well. My goal is more modest but, I feel, more pertinent. I want to re-tool the inner-city schools across the US – at least for those students who choose to participate - by getting them engaged in the new communications technology: video on the Web, and every alternative distribution platform available.

There’s no doubt that business is adopting video messages as a more effective and less expensive communication method. Anyone who has mastered the necessary skills to create video messages will find ample opportunity to practice that skill.

You can help make that happen by becoming a mini-philanthropist – donate $5 or $10 to Children Without Limits, Inc., P.O. Box 427, Carmel. IN 46082. We’ll add your name to the growing list of supporters on our Web site and you can even deduct the amount from your taxes.

On the other hand, if you feel strongly about getting inner city youth involved in this new communication technology, let's sit down over a cup of coffee and discuss how best to leverage your energy and concern. Call me at 317.815.0401. Better yet, send an e-mail to welke@childrenwithoutlimits.org. I'll respond within 24 hours.
